Died - near Monticello, Pike Co, AL, George Ann, youngest daughter of Lunsford and Eleanor Griffin, aged 13 years, 4 months and 29 days, after an illness of 3 weeks and 4 days of remitting fever.

She endured her sufferings with great fortitude, falling asleep in the arms of her Savior, without a struggle. She was a child of a pious turn of mind and smooth temper, admired by her associates and teacher in school ‎(Spirit of the South, please copy)‎
